God is cooperating with man by listening to his prayer. God, who created heaven and earth, is challenging us to pray to him, not only about small needy things, but even about nations. The very best is to pray according to His plans, then we will see wonderful results of our prayers.
Psalm 2.8: Ask of Me, and I will surely give you the nations as Thine inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Thy possession.
Are you getting this? Wow! It is not only words. It is a challenge from God to pray to Him according to His plans and then the fullfilment of his promise follows.

Fix your thoughts on Jesus!
Hebrew 3.1: Therefore, holy brethren, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest, whom we confess.
For this verse is good to know how it is written in the basic text in Greek. The meaning then will be that Jesus is the high priest and the apostle of our confessions. It means; what we confess on the earth, he brings further to God the father and when we confess his word on this earth it will happen accordingly. When we believe and confess....
A word has power in it selves and if we read in Proverbs 18,.21 we find: "The tongue has the power of life and death and those who use it, will eats its fruit." It means, when we speak words they will be for life or for death. Read also about the power of the tongue in the letter of Jacob.3.1-10!

The Chrystal night
The Esther group, Hamar, arranged an extraordenary rememberance night in Hamar the 9th of November. The guest of honour this evening was Jahn Otto Johansen.
The night was silent and the streets nearly empty, but through Hamar a procession of about 70 - 80 people with torch lights made their way with help of a police car in front.
When I listen to such people as Jahn Otto Johansen, I am thankful to God and proud of being a Norwegian.
He gave an appeal first on the market square and then inside an auditory close by he delivered a lecture on antiSemitism, - Someone is never afraid of speaking words about righteousness and they never give up. Jahn Otto Johansen is one of them!
I am glad that some more people came to the auditory afterwards; maybe about 110-120 attended. But where were the press photographers? I couldn't see them at all. Are we forgetting to honor the old and wise men and women in our nation, and are we forgetting to learn about what they have to say?
Anyway, he let us to know: he has a lot of knowlegde -and wisdom too.
He spoke about antiSemitism throughout history and focused on different countries in Europe. He also reminded us that the Christians have promoted it a lot. Already in a church council in year 888, they made a clear statement, that it is forbidden to have meals with both Christians and Jews.
Then he also reminded us about the historical fact that there were no ghettoes before the great crusades and the Inquisition. It means there were no ghettoes before around year 1000-1100 after Christ.
To be more clear: The ghettoes actually came with the crusades and the inquisition.
Few countries have openly regreted for their antisemtism during Second Worldwar, but Germany has. Jahn Otto also used some time to focused that. It came up in the sixties when the young generation asked their daddies: What did you do in the Second World war? - Every year, in the middle of Berlin they are reading the names of the Jews they lost because of Nazism. - 55 000 names are being red loud: why? They don't want the offers to be nameless. Another example:" Mein Kampf " of Hitler is forbidden to sell in Germany, but like in Austria and in Russia they are selling it openly in the streets.
We should ever be ashamed, as Christians, about what we throughout history have done towards the Jews, and it should make us always to live in repentance for doing what is right towards them.Then we should also guard our-selves against all kind of hate and contempt to all people groups. And if we still have some kind of this hatress or contempt, we should get rid of it by confessing our sin before God.
Let us always be curious about the true facts in history. It can help us to do right in future!

Let it never happen again!
For remembrance of the Chrystal nightØstre Torg in Hamar: 9.Nov.2010 kl.17.30: Appeal by Jahn Otto Johansen. Torchlight procession follows straight afterwards.( Arranged by the Esthergroup in Hamar)
That night, in Germany, 72 year ago a terrible violence was effected against the Jews.
Almost all the synagogues were burnt and the Jewish shops and houses were damaged; about 7000 during that night. A great number of Jews were killed. 20 000 Jews were sent to concentration camps. This was the start of the extermination of altogether 6 million Jews during Second World War! -Of these 1,5 million were children.
The hate against the Jews is again increasing! In Scandinavia Jews are persecuted. Media is again making fun of the Jew. Of some Holocaust is even renounced!
After the torchlight procession will Jahn Otto Johansen have a speech in the Festiviteten in Hamar at 19.30!!!

The Israelday, yesterday, was remarkable!
Yesterday, for the first time, Hedmark Missioncentre arranged Israelday. About 50 people were listening to Dag Øyvind Juliussen, when he told the truth about the Gaza convoys and made very clear how the Norwegian media are keeping truth, about this matter, away from the people.
The title of his speech was: Israel in the salvationplan of God. That we have to remember our roots. He made clear that the new covenant in the blood of Christ is based upon the covenant that God made with Abraham about 2000 years earlier. The covenant with Abraham is still working, and without that, the Gentiles could not be saved.
Then he focused two events that have to happen before Christ comes back: 1. The gospel has to be preached to all people groups of the world and 2. The Jews will see Jesus who they crusified and recieve salvation through Him.
The Menorah dancing group from Hamar with Julanta as leader was dancing several dances to Jewish songs and did a very good job.
This we enjoyed a lot - and for sure - simalar arrangements will come up in the future!

In Jesus we have become new!
2.Cor.5.17: Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come
I think the meaning of this verse is much more than we think the first times we are reading it. -As Adam was the head, the ancestor, of all human beings is Jesus the head, the ancestor of a new family tree of new creations.
Other refrences:1.Cor.15.22: For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. 1.Cor.15.45: The first Adam became a living soul. The last Adam(=Christ) became a life-giving spirit.1.Cor.15.49: "And just as we were born in the image of the earthly; and as is the heavenly, so also those who are heavenly." Means: Now we are born as new creation in the image of the heavenly (=Christ)
Shortly: The old things which have passed away is: All the bad things which came into the world because man did wrong. Through his death and ressurection Jesus took away the sting of death which is the sin(1Cor.15.55-56) Therefore it was getting possible for us to get back the relationsship which we had lost because of the fall of man, but also to be restored for the consequenses of the sin.
Jesus bore our sins on the cross so we should get back all the things we lost through the fall.
As new creations we have got a new identity. We are forgiven. We are born again. We belong to Christ and are heirs to all the spiritual blessings which are in heaven: Ephesians 1.3. And as children, heirs, we also can take part of all the promises which is in the Bible. 2.Cor.1.20: For as many as may be the promises of God, in Him they also are yes; wherefore also by Him is our amen to the glory of God through us.
Our relationship with God was broken and we lost the purpose of getting part of what he has. In Christ we have got all these things back!

I am now in Sikkim
I enjoy these days to be in Sikkim. The most dramatic which has happen these days is the flight between Calcutta and Bagdogra( Siliguri). We were circling around Siliguri in one and a half hour. When the pilot tried to get the plane down it was a couple of times falling stright down some meter and shaking. Because of the weather he was not able to land the plane. Then after one and a half hour we had to got to Guawhati in Assam to fill petrol. And then finally we could land some hours delayed. I tell you, it was a good feeling to come out of the plane after all these hours when we had expected only to have 45 minuts flight.

I have reached Delhi
I was delayed about one hour for Delhi also, but now, I have possibility for 5 hours sleep. I go further to Calcutta tomorrow morning and will be there around 11 am. Then I stay there for a couple of days. Was lucky to get internett in the room I got here in Delhi. I'm so thankfull to again having the possibility to be here. God cares.

Memories from India
Pearl wedding yesterday! Here is two pictures from the last trip together in India
. Imagine; we have been married in 30 years! Now, we go for the next 30...At the airport
Again, finally, I am at the airport of Oslo. Yesterday we, my wife and me were celebrating that we have been married for 30 years. Jorunn made us the very best dinner and we enjoyed the day together.
But now I am here focusing for India. But it's good to look forward to come home also after a couple of weeks. Then again we will celebrate, because the day after coming back, Jorunn has birthday.
Anyway, it will be good to get better updated about all what is happening in India.
Åh, just got messsage through the loudspeekers that the flight is one hour delayed because of bad weather in Amsterdam.
But now I am here focusing for India. But it's good to look forward to come home also after a couple of weeks. Then again we will celebrate, because the day after coming back, Jorunn has birthday.
Anyway, it will be good to get better updated about all what is happening in India.

Tuesday the 21; I'll go to India again
Again I am preparing for a trip to India. My travel will go through Amsterdam to Delhi and the to Calcutta were I will stay among friends and teach. Then I go to Siliguri to take jeep further on to Sikkim.After staying in Sikkim about one week I will go to Sokia Pokara to visit a friend who has invited me to come. I think he want to present me for many of his friends.
This village lays close to the border of Nepal. Only Nepalis are living in this area and most of the inhabitans are either Hindus or Buddhists. They are always welcoming us as foreigners in the very best way. Often they invite us inside their houses. And then of course we get tea; the very best one: Darjeeling tea.

Conferance in Uppsala
I have just come home from conferance in Word of Life in Uppsala, Sweden. I have enjoyed a lot all these days. It was very special to hear Taisir Saada and fantastic to hear how he met Jesus.
To hear that the grace in the gospel also comprehend to get power to live a devine life (John Bevere) was mighty and gave so much inspiration for further more being change..
But ALL the preachers inspired in the very best way.
It was worth the travel to Sweden as always, and we are coming back.

What is clear is that a caterpillar eats a lot before it is becoming a butterfly. Preparation to become a butterfly means eating. If not the metamorphose( the change) will not take place.
To compare again with the new birth, we are depending to eat a lot of the word of God for getting the change that is prepared of God beforehand. We do our part as the caterpillar and then God do his part; giving growth. That is the way to succeed in life.

From caterpillar to butterfly
It is facinating to look at the nature and know about some of the miracles which take place
every day.

By mind it is difficult to understand that a caterpillar can be a butterfly. But it happens.

It also happens that people are getting totally changed by the word of God; If anybody is in Christ he is a new creation, all the old things is gone and new things has come. 2. Cor.5.17

Jesus teach us in Mark 7.20-23 that it is not what we eat that makes us unclean but all the bad things that comes out of the heart of man. These things are those which defile the man.

But when we get born again and live by the Spirit of God we live another life and will carry out the fruits of the Spirit. They are: love, joy,peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfullness, gentleness, selfcontroll; against such things there is no law. Gal.5.22-23

As God has put into a caterpillar what is needed to be a butterfly, he is putting his life into the defiled man to be a new creation and live a victorious life.

It is really a great change from being a caterpillar to be a butterfly. It is not only the outlook, but even the way it lives.

The hidden pearl
The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.(Mat.13.44)
It is just the same with the plans of God with our lives. Do we seek Him and get hold of what he wants us to do, it is so much valuable that we full of joy can set all other things apart AND FOLLOW HIM.
Gods plans with our life is like a pearl which is shining and is unlimited in value. It is a part of heaven.

Ryddedag på Stange
Den store ryddedagen :-)
Vi skulle rydde i garasjen i dag, og gjorde det. Pakket all søpla omhyggelig inn i varebilen og gledet oss over at garasjen var i ferd med å bli tom.
Kona skulle kjøre det av gårde til søppelfyllinga. Men det tok ikke lang tid før hun var tilbake igjen med all søpla fortsatt i varebilen.... Hun gav fra seg et forklarende ord: STREIK.

Pinse i Trysil
Hadde en flott pinsetur til Østby i Trysil. Da fikk vi dette olje-maleriet som skal gå til inntekt til prosjektene ute i India. Kanskje det selges til høystbydende eller vi tar det på utlodding. Bildet er malt og gitt av Finn Moen. Normal pris er 9000. Flott gave til misjonen.
