I am now in Sikkim

I enjoy these days to be in Sikkim. The most dramatic which has happen these days is the flight between Calcutta and Bagdogra( Siliguri). We were circling around Siliguri in one and a half hour. When the pilot tried to get the plane down it was a couple of times falling stright down some meter and shaking. Because of the weather he was not able to land the plane. Then after one and a half hour we had to got to Guawhati in Assam to fill petrol. And then finally we could land some hours delayed. I tell you, it was a good feeling to come out of the plane after all these hours when we had expected only to have 45 minuts flight.

I have reached Delhi

I was delayed about one hour for Delhi also, but now, I have possibility for 5 hours sleep. I go further to Calcutta tomorrow morning and will be there around 11 am. Then I stay there for a couple of days. Was lucky to get internett in the room I got here in Delhi. I'm so thankfull to again having the possibility to be here. God cares.

At the airport

Again, finally, I am at the airport of Oslo. Yesterday we, my wife and me were celebrating that we have been married for 30 years. Jorunn made us the very best dinner and we enjoyed the day together.

But now I am here focusing for India. But it's good to look forward to come home also after a couple of weeks. Then again we will celebrate, because the day after coming back, Jorunn has birthday.

Anyway, it will be good to get better updated about all what is happening in India.

Åh, just got messsage through the loudspeekers that the flight is one hour delayed because of bad weather in Amsterdam.

Tuesday the 21; I'll go to India again

Again I am preparing for a trip to India. My travel will go through Amsterdam to Delhi and the to Calcutta were I will stay among friends and teach.

Then I go to Siliguri to take jeep further on to Sikkim.After staying in Sikkim about one week I will go to Sokia Pokara to visit a friend who has invited me to come. I think he want to present me for many of his friends.

This village lays close to the border of Nepal. Only Nepalis are living in this area and most of the inhabitans are either Hindus or Buddhists. They are always welcoming us as foreigners in the very best way. Often they invite us inside their houses. And then of course we get tea; the very best one: Darjeeling tea.
