I love Darj

I enjoyed to partcipate in I love Darj campaign 3. December.- Encouraged by YWAM and backed up of many of the churches and Christan organizations in Darjeeling.

Delivered from sin to bear fruit for God.

Romans 6.22: But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome eternal life.
We were there like in a pond of mud and were not able to come out. But we asked Him to take us out...-and He did!
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay ( -Psalm 40.2a)
I don't want back to that pit anymore and my safety now is God; - I am enslaved to God. I am bought free by the precious blood of Jesus. It is a free gift and to be enslaved to God is a part of that gift. The fruit of being with God  is sanctfication. Therefore I will have my refuge in Jesus and by grace day by day be changed towards being more and more like Jesus. And finally I will be in heaven with Him to live eternally there.

Know the will of God and pray it out; and then you will see the changes even in your surroundings!

1.John.5.14-15: And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 

As many as received Him, to them he gave the right to become children of God

You can know, that if you received Him, you got the right to become a child of God! John 1.12.

When the man had sinned by eating of the forbidden three, God was careful not to let Him eat of the three of life. Genesis 3.22-24. God knew that sinful and eternal was a bad combination. He wanted man to get His righteousness first and then get back the right to eat of the three of life. Revelation 22.14: "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the three of life, and may enter  the gates into the city."

For this to happen God had to make out His salvation plan for all men, and Jesus had to be born to become the sinoffer lamb. He paid the price for our sins. He cancelled our sertificate of debt by nailing it to the cross..Then He rose again to be the firstborn of death and the firstborn of many brethren..

To receive Him means to get forgivness and be born again and then live out the new life He has given us!
The best that ever could happen to us was to get back the relationship with Allmighty God!!!

Good teaching can make the good changes.

Deuteronomy 32.2: Let my teaching fall like rain, and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants..

Our teaching can be like the rain, that make dry spiritual ground to give growth again. After months or years of drought God will bring live and revival!

But it is very important, when we preach the word of God, that we speak it out without doing changes from the Bible.

When we don't compromise, towards the written word of God, in our teaching and teach with living faith, in love, we will see that God will confirm his word, also by signs and wonders.

We can have confidence, even on the day of judgement!

1.John.4.17:In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment,...

When we have got the love of God into our hearts, this love is able to take all kind of fear away. In the love of God there is no fear(1.John 4.18). Because we have received Jesus, we can even look forward to the day of judgment with exitement and expectations, because we are born again and washed clean by His blood. So when we meet the judge, the creator of heaven of earth, on that day, we can have confidence, without any kind of fear. We are going to be in heaven with him for all eternity!

A secret, how to easier live a holy life!

Psalm.119.11: In my heart I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you and Psalm 119.32: I run in the path of your commandments for you have set my heart free.

Hear we can find a key how to better resist temptation and how to have a heart free from bondage:

If I keep his words in my heart I will be more resistant towards doing sin. When temptation comes; I can be standing. Satan’s purpose with temptation is to get us do sin, but God’s purpose for our lives is to overcome sin and do his will instead!

And when I run in the path of His commandments my heart will stand free from all kinds of bondages as fright, envy, bitterness and depression.

Do we believe in an almighty God?

After the earthquake and tsunami in Japan pastor David Yonggi Cho was tellling that he was wondering if this catastrophe was a warning from God. I wonder how someone can dear to criticize him for that comment.
We also now that materialsim and atheism is quite much dominating in that country. If we believe in the Bible and in The Allmighty God, it should be quite relevant to wonder about this.

We are not suppose to condemn others, but to ask the relevant questions we should  always do. We can read about the grace of God in all the Bible, but we also find that he is a God of punishment. When catastrophes and disaster, epedemies and sickness is hitting the earth somewhere and even comes into my world, it is really the time to shout to the Lord and ask him for salvation, protection, deliverance and healing.

God is graceful and he is letting the rain come both for the righteous and unrighteous ones. (Matthew 5.45)
-It's clear anyway, in the Bible, that it is protection in following the word of God. And time(s) will come when we clearly can distinguish between the rigteous and the wicked, between the one  who serves God and one who does not serve Him( Malaki 3.18)

Proverbs 22.4: The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor and life.

Contrasts in my world

I am skiing on soft newfallen snow, and my sticks are hitting the snow regularly.. My skis are moving smothly through the snow. Pictures are switching in my mind: Earthquake, psunami; an old man is trying to find his family in the ruins of all the houses; nothing is left. Tens of thousands burried alive. Two children of a family of seven are left behind after the rest of the family is brutally killed in one of the settlements of Israel. Their heart were pierced through with knives and their throats cutted..

A cruel murder in one of the new settlements of Israel.

How can it happen and at the same time almost be hidden from the news in many countries: A hole family killed, when they were sleeping in the night; even a little baby girl - only three month old. Open the link and read and face the reality about it.
It happened in Israel.....

It is great power in spoken words!

Proverbs 18.21: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit."
What you speak will either give life or death. You can speak couragement or discouragement. You can speak for health or for sickness. You can speak for good or bad changes. You are the one who decide. The tongue is like a rudder. And you are the pilot on your boat.The boat is directed by the rudder whereever the inclination of the pilot desires! Take the right words in your mouth and you will know were you are going.

You gonna be like a child to go to heaven!

We can learn so many things from the children; one of them is: -Simply be together with God and enjoy life! :-)

First warning about strike is cancelled!

I still can follow my originally plans :-) . Today I am going to Mirik and Thursday I go for paragliding. We hope to be four para gliders close after each other from the hillside and down to the river. Three of us will have the experience for first time.- I for the second...

The lifestyle in Darjeeling

Strikes, strikes, strikes. Nowadays it seems  that strikes is a part of the breathing of The Nepalis. And we all need to adjust our lives to this fact when we are moving around in Darjeeling District.

No reason to be sad because of that. Life is going on and friends is to be found everywhere!
Rejoice always, again I will say REJOICE!! :-)

I am going to Mirik again!

A lot of events are happening this month. One of them will be in Mirik. This picture is taken last year when my wife joined me for two month in this region of the world.
